Josh Hinger first stepped onto a grappling mat in 1996 when he was abducted into the varsity wrestling team at Sonora High School in Brea, CA. It was then, after getting absolutely pummeled as a freshman on an advanced wrestling team that he fell in love with grappling.
He started training jiu-jistu on July 2, 2003. In the past 14 years, he has accumulated a laundry list of jiu-jitsu and nogi grappling accomplishments, such as:
